We decided that we needed some quality time away from the hustle and bustle of moving. So, we're spending the next couple of days at the Rosehaven Inn located in Catskill Park, NY (see the picture of the inn above). It's a quaint inn located near the lovely Kaaterskill Falls.On Thursday, after a yummy breakfast we spent the afternoon hiking at Kaaterskill Falls. It was a fairly easy 1/2 mile hike to the base of the falls from the road. To visit the top, we had to drive around the mountain and then go for another short hike. In between, we stopped for lunch. Man, that was some good hot chocolate. Check our a video from the base of the falls, a video from the top of the falls, and the photo album, below.
On Friday, we went for a hike to the site of the Catskill Mountain House. We made a short video from the top and took photos of the 1.5 mile hike through the snow:
