We're expecting October 6th! Despite a rocky start---an ultrasound at 8 weeks showed that there was blood between the uterine wall and the baby's sac---Baby W is doing well. We just had our 11 week doctor's visit where we heard the heart beat for the first time! It's surreal. Betsy has had no nausea and hasn't gained weight (despite numerous peanut butter milkshakes, her favorite food these days). The only noticeable symptom has been fatigue.According to this week's email from BabyCenter.com, Baby W is the size of a fig and has a fully developed circulatory system, toes and fingers that move individually, tooth buds, and bones that are starting to harden! Amazing. Really.
