Day 7: Noah is critical UPDATE

We just met with Dr. Rios, Noah’s attending physician. His primary concern is Noah’s extremely high potassium level. The level is high because his kidney’s are not functioning (the kidney’s can act to remove potassium). Unfortunately, Dr. Rios only has a few ‘tricks’ he can play to bring the level down and none of the options are particularly attractive. His hope is that one or more of this tricks will buy him time until Noah’s kidney’s start functioning.
